This is a panic button.
☛
This is me, pushing the panic button.
DD is driving my car, alone, for the first time.
☺
This is the happy face I'll put on when she walks in the door.
My available character palette has no wine fonts. Note to self: work on this. You're gonna need it!
I'm so proud of you for letting her go. I'm 45 years old and my mother still does not let me drive her car.
ReplyDeleteit's gonna be ok, relax. Breathe....through your nose, you need your mouth for the merlot! This too shall pass - and I suspect that your child will be a GREAT driver with a sense of humor and purpose.
ReplyDeleteJoining you in a glass of merlot (to keep you company) It will be ok but it does takes a while to adjust.
ReplyDeleteI saw this commercial on tv and thought of you... (copy and past link into yr browser).

Your little girl is growing up so fast! I cannot even imagine what you must be going through.
Inhale deeply. Exhale deeply.
My grandmother was the first person brave enough to let me drive after I got my learner's permit and I honor her for it. Meanwhile, every time my soon-to-be-14-year-old talks about driving I feel weak and need to go rest. These milestones are hard work!
ReplyDeleteNo wine fonts??? That sure is terrible! We need wine fonts! But now that your daughter is driving on her own, maybe you need real wine more than you need a wine font. ;)
