Because not everybody thinks about yarn 24/7
This is an actual made-up conversation DD and I almost had on our way up to the dentist this afternoon:
Me: Cool! Look at those clouds! That group looks just like roving. Quick! Grab my phone and take a picture.
DD: What? Take a picture of what? What the hell is roving?
This is a photo she took on our way home, actually, and no the clouds didn't look like roving anymore.

What?
ReplyDeleteI don't understand the title of your post.
The picture is nice though.
They don't? !! :)
ReplyDelete"actual made-up" love it!
They may not look like roving anymore, but they are STILL very cool clouds.
ReplyDeleteLovely actual made-up photo.
ReplyDeleteWell, they should.
ReplyDeleteHahah!
ReplyDeleteLOL, I could picture having the exact same conversaton with my daughter!
ReplyDeletePersonally, I NEVER stop thinking about yarn. Except when the soft shell crabs arrive.
ReplyDeletesounds so very familiar......
ReplyDeleteFireman will not stop for my photo thoughts.....I often get blurry things in my camera
I had a great time at a recent knit night watching my male (nonknitter) friend try to work out what different knitting terms might mean. Priceless.
ReplyDeleteLOL @ "what the hell is roving"...I have SO heard that one.
ReplyDeleteHahaha! Too funny..!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear I am not the only one thinking about yarn/fiber 24/7... From the moment I wake up, to the moment I shut my eyes to sleep, I think of yarn.
Oh wait, I even dream about it. And some people are convinced I knit in my sleep...
Whenever I admire things lately in stores, one of my daughters will say, "You could make that." You've got to love that kind of faith, no matter how misplaced it is :-)
ReplyDeleteLOL, love it!
ReplyDeletePS. There's gotta be something wrong with people who don't think about yarn!!!
Who doesn't think about yarn?
ReplyDeleteI totally see the roving ! Very cute post.
ReplyDeleteSincerely,
Carolyn -Two Cables
Totally cracked me up!...the whole conversation, the picture...too fun.
ReplyDeleteAppreciated your suggestion about a knit stitch book...can't wait to get my hands on one. Life's been crazy and now the computer is having attitude problems. :) But then, it's always *something*.
