Keep Calm and Carry Yarn
I hate to use words like 'gastrointestinal' in a blog post, but I figure if I do, you won't ask for details. Trust me, you don't want to know. I'm only surfacing today because somewhere in my foggy brain I recall something about a contest and a surprise and who knows what else I said.
I've been saving the few working brain cells I have for basic functions like sleeping and whining, but I promise the moment I have the energy to do anything more there will be one heck of a giveaway on this blog. Seriously. And my surprise? Let's just say it was worth three trips to Ikea...

ReplyDeleteOuch, I hope you feel better soon!!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd may I ask -- when you're feeling well enough to spare a few brain cells on a reply to me -- where you got such an amazingly awesome necklace?????
Hope the gastrointestinal cells have settled down and the brain cells are reproducing instead ;-)

I hope that you feel better very soon.
ReplyDeleteI managed to find time to get to IKEA before leaving Colorado and the new store is amazing and much bigger than any I've seen in other cities. You have me curious as to what you found and why it took three trips.
Take care of yourself.
I hope you're feeling better already! Remember, the key is to be sick in ways that still allow you to knit. Clearly this was not that kind of sick. Poor Jelli!
ReplyDeleteI'm bummed I've been kinda outta the loop with the wedding and so didn't know you've not been feeling well. (I highly endorse whining, by the way-why have the ability, if we're not allowed to use it?) I hope you're feeling great soon and I LOVE your new room. We've got 2 kids out, 1 kid nearly out and 2, well, we've got a 9 yr old, so it will be awhile, but I can a shred of light at the end of the tunnel. LOVE that you have your own pretty, organized, inspiring space. That ROCKS.
