I will ...I know exactly what you're getting at. I will be the first to admit that there are some things that just don't tickle my fancy but I would never dream of going to a designer and telling them, "hey, your crap sucks bozons." That's just rude. Now, if it's a pattern that I have that is a hot mess and needs some editing or just has something that looks like a mistake, I will suggest that to a designer. What they do with it is their thing but at least I feel that I've done my due diligence to fix something that doesn't make sense. Here's a situation where the designer of Dreambird accusued the designer of Scarf With Flames (wrongly!) of stealing her design. She stirred up her followers to attack tne new designer, which they did en masse. Then, when public opinion turned, she simply deleted most of her attacks, rather than offering apologies. Meanwhile the new designer hasn't been active on Rav since Jan. I wonder if the lynch mob is proud of its accomplishment?

Here's the pattern page:

http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/scarf-with-flames

Check out the comments and the Forum "Dreambird versus Scarf with flames" Kitten With a Whiplashhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03398822257651862516noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5223334335186523214.post-83977671936530021162014-04-20T06:03:30.303-06:002014-04-20T06:03:30.303-06:00RIP indeed.RIP indeed.krayolakrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13887066973588730515noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5223334335186523214.post-51407744776732567332014-04-14T14:46:03.628-06:002014-04-14T14:46:03.628-06:00Glad to see you post. I worked at University Hospital for years. I know where the theater is. I can "feel" the hurt, even now that I live in Calgary. Colorado has had a rough year. I hope that the victims of this shooting and those affected by the fires can find some strength to move forward. For the rest of us, we can only hold them in our thoughts and prayers.

Joanne
New blog URL: http://www.rhythmoftheneedles.netJoannehttp://www.rhythmoftheneedles.netnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5223334335186523214.post-47057320638653807532012-07-21T09:16:54.431-06:002012-07-21T09:16:54.431-06:00I echo you sentiments Susan.
